The opportunity to be in front of Rosalind’s camera is not one to pass up. But I had a double challenge: to switch places from photographer to model and to have my whole face exposed. Since I joined Bold Beauty Project (BBP), I’ve been thinking about body differences, about not needing to conform, and about owning myself as I am. I’ve ventured the world without a shell many times this past year; I’ve found moments I feel like “dressing up,” and moments I want to be free. The exploration has been very gratifying, as a whole new way of thinking opened up for me.
