Cerebral Palsy

Cross Fit Level 2 Certified Trainer / Student

“Failure is not an option,” and I must say that mantra has gotten me through a lot. Born with cerebral palsy, it was no secret that life was going to be a bit different for me. But that didn’t mean I should rely on it as an excuse as to why I couldn’t do something great. Whether it was higher education, earning a master’s degree or becoming the world’s first CrossFit Trainer with cerebral palsy, the word “can’t” never really held any weight.

I am no stranger to adversity; my most recent challenge has been bigger than I could have ever anticipated. I am now able to add cancer fighter / survivor to the list. As my life’s story continues to evolve, I have had the opportunity to meet and interact with so many different types of people. Not every day is easy, but every day is worth it! I have found at the end of it all, I have the ability to challenge society’s idea of what a person with different abilities is supposed to look or sound like.
