Erin is a Bahamian disability inclusion strategist, Paralympic athlete, and twenty-year stage 4 osteosarcoma survivor whose work bridges advocacy, policy, and cultural visibility. An above-the-knee amputee and proud native of Grand Bahama, she is widely recognized as one of the Caribbean’s leading Disability Inclusion Consultants.
As Principal of Erin Brown Connects, she has advanced disability-led reform across education, health, employment, disaster management, and policy, working with institutions including PAHO/WHO, the Caribbean Development Bank, the University of The Bahamas, and the Office of the Prime Minister of The Bahamas.
First featured in the Bold Beauty Project at Art Palm Beach in 2020, Brown continues to use global platforms to expand representation and access. A Paralympic athlete in triathlon and archery, Brown is committed to shaping the future of adaptive sport in The Bahamas and the wider region.
Across her work as an entrepreneur, mother, and nation builder, she continues to redefine what leadership looks like when rooted in lived experience. She is committed to building inclusive systems and futures across the Caribbean and beyond.
For Erin, the Bold Beauty Project is not simply an exhibition, but a declaration. It is a space where disabled identity is neither diminished nor reinterpreted, but fully realized. Her presence insists on a world where resilience, beauty, and inclusion are not aspirational, but inherent.
