I was born and raised in Miami. I am a Special Olympics athlete and also an athlete leader. I am an athlete leader for ALC and Miami-Dade Area 8. I play sports for the Special Olympics Miami Enigmas teams in pickleball, volleyball, bocce, and bowling. As an Athlete Leader, I help and support Special Olympics at fundraisers and special events. I love being involved with Special Olympics; it gives me a sense of purpose in my community… and it has helped me make friends and meet new people. Like the Bold Beauty Project and this photo shoot, which made my friend Shania and me feel and look beautiful, I love dressing up, wearing makeup, and feeling so special. It was a fun and great experience which I will keep as a great memory.
