Amputee

Cynthia Fleischmann, a Swiss/American activist artist, lost her leg in 2015 after being hit by a car on I-95 North in Miami, while she was riding her motorcycle. She feels extremely lucky to be alive, and despite the challenges of being one-legged using crutches or two- legged using a prosthesis, she continues to stay positive and do the things she loves, including salsa dancing, ice skating, bodypainting, and traveling.

Living between Miami, Zurich, Switzerland, and Cape Town, South Africa, she works on her Bodypaintography and Humanity for Harmony projects wherever she goes.
