Megan Clancy
Megan Clancy is originally from Boston and was born Deaf in a hearing family. She moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and was featured on a talk show in Hollywood about her cochlear implant experience which inspired her to pursue acting. Since then, she became very involved with the annual Easter Seals Disability Film Challenge, various 48-hour film competitions, independent films, short films, TV shows, PSAs, and commercials. She was nominated for the Best Actress award at the 2022 Sydney, Australia Science Fiction Film Festival for her work in Tech Support, a short film directed by Carl Hansen. Most recently, she completed a PSA project in New York City. She also creates ASL videos for StartASL.com to help our community to learn ASL and related topics virtually.
